Ensuring the correct messages reach the correct audience on the correct time is a fundamental business strategy for every business success. Failure in explaining why the solution is best for the ideal buyers will make the product to be less sold in the market even if it is the best. This is where clear and consistent messaging plays a vital role.
A messaging framework is a tool which helps to communicate the business strategy across all different business lines. These tools also help the audience to visualize the individual elements of a message to comprise. Successful framework provides reasonable and consistent messaging that resonates with the audience and will differentiate the organization from competitors by key value propositions.
There isn’t an absolute way to develop a messaging framework but a comprehensive approach will account for product positioning and company level messaging. Adapting a messaging framework to fit the business is vital. There are many areas to be concerned about while developing the messaging framework and few of them are elaborated below.

Company Message to Convey Your Brand
According to business2community “At the highest level, company messaging gets to the heart of what customers need and how your company’s product/service/solution does a particularly good job of meeting those needs. Company-level messaging will often include components such as a brand promise, positioning statement and a mission statement that all speak to who your brand is and what you want to accomplish as a company.”
Brand pillars which are few selling points offered should be included in company messaging. To differentiate your organization from the competitors experts suggest to think of one word descriptors while crafting the pillars. Ultimately it helps to speak about each pillar with the explanation of how the product embodies the benefit. Some say not to involve specific offerings and solutions in corporate messages. Instead keep the message as a big picture. Messages should be short at the same time deep enough where the potential customers should get an immediate understanding.

Offering Differentiation
Each product message should be unique from another. It should not only describe the individual features but also the benefits the audience gain and how it makes their day to day activity easier. At the same time it is important to mention what makes your product stand alone among many products in the market. It is important to have knowledge about the competitors to assume where you stand as per the market value and it also helps you to pitch your proposition properly like how it outshines other products.
